Dr. Rémi Tchokothe ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter für Afrikawissenschaften an der Universität Bayreuth / Deutschland und professeur associé an der Centre Universitaire de Mayotte. Seine Forschungsinteressen umfassen Afrophone-Literatur und kulturelle Entwicklung, interkulturelle Übersetzung und afrikanische Jugendsprachen in der Diaspora. Zurzeit arbeitet er an der kamerunischen Jugendsprache Camfranglais in Deutschland und an Literatur und Migration innerhalb des Archipels von Komoren. Rémi Tchokothe ist Mitglied im Beirat für Integration in Bayreuth.Sprachkenntnisse: Englisch, Swahili, Fe’e Fe’e, Französisch, Deutsch, Cameroonian pidgin englisch, Camfranglais.
