Dr. Rémi Tchokothe is an assistant professor in African Studies at the University of Bayreuth/Germany and professeur associé at the Centre Universitaire de Mayotte. His research interests include afrophone literatures and cultural development, intercultural translation and African youth languages in the diaspora. He is currently working on the Cameroonian youth language Camfranglais in Germany and on literature and migration within the Comoros Archipelago. Rémi Tchokothe is member of the advisory Council for Integration in Bayreuth.
